Ghetto Mobile

Julianne loves to smile and coo at the animals on her bouncer. So Thomas had this great idea of adding a mobile to the bassinet. Unfortunately, a mobile at the store runs around $25-$40, money that we couldn't see spending for something that will be used for such a short amount of time.

So last night Thomas decided to make a mobile out of items we had at home. Here are some pictures of the "ghetto mobile":

And if you want to make your own home-made mobile (or "ghetto mobile"), here's how:
1. Gather: two sticks, hangers, or something long and straight will do; yarn; and small stuffed animals or whatever else you have around the house that you think baby might like looking at (make sure it's not something baby can hurt themselves with, of course!).
2. Tie the sticks or hangers together in a cross-like fashion.
3. Tie a piece of the yarn each of the stuffed animals or toy you chose for your baby to look at.
4. And hang from ceiling!

And there you go! Now you have your very own "ghetto mobile" as well!
