No Longer a Newborn!

Yes, that's right. Julianne is no longer a newborn! As of the 18th she is now three months old, therefore, not a newborn. My baby is growing up way too fast!
Things Julianne is now doing:
  • working on rolling over (she'll get about half-way there, but needs a good push to make it all the way)
  • giggling and laughing--she has the most adorable laugh ever!
  • grasping and grabbing toys within reach
  • smiling up a storm! her favorite time to smile is right when she wakes up from a nap or getting her diaper changed
  •  sitting in the Bumbo without leaning
  • sleeping 8+ hours--that is awesome for a 3 month old! her longest stretch has been 12 hours :)
  • and so much more!
A visual of how she has changed over the past three months:

I just can't believe how much she's changed from my little 6lb 2oz baby. I am excited that we are past the newborn phase and excited for what's to come, but I am also sad to leave behind the super snuggly, ultra-dependent phase as well.

She is such a sweetheart! Yes, it's sad when they are no longer teeny tiny and new, but every stage has so many great things about it I think you'll enjoy each one. It's around 3 months and older they can really see you well and start interacting more with your facial expressions, which is really fun!
