Wednesday the third was Thomas's last day in the Active Duty Army. We went to dinner at Red Robin to celebrate. Although there were some major down falls about Thomas being in the Army, there are also some good things that came out of it...one of them is him being stationed up here in Washington allowing us to meet and marry and I am definitely grateful to the Army for that.
And with him being out of the Army, that leaves him jobless. We debated on whether or not he needed a job while he went to school and we decided him having one wouldn't do any harm. He's applied to a few and finally heard back from Fred Meyers and Toys R Us about an interview. He had both interviews yesterday. He said the interview at Freddies went well and he was invited to go to a second interview today with them. Afterwards he had his interview with Toys R Us. He was all prepared to hand over proof he was in the military and his resume. His interviewer Yolanda gave him the job after asking him only a few questions, she didn't even need to see his resume. So Thomas's first day at Toys R Us will be next Monday. He's great with kids and I know this will be a great fit. Congratulations Thomas on your new job!

OH! That's good and bad! It's great he has a job (hopefully he likes it) but it's too bad because that means we will see even less of you guys! But Ilee's going to dig the toys'r'us perks. lol
